The biggest downside of this amp is that when you switch channels with the footswitch, you hear the signal drop out for a fraction of a second. That may be acceptable live it still kills that cool slam you get when you hit the chorus , but it makes it difficult to use for recording if you change channels a lot. MIKE they absolutely suck! Like others mentioned, LOUD lots of power.
Probably my favorite gain structure. My favorite head is a plus, and this beats it. Unfortunately, I had this head two weeks, plugged into 6 times, never moved it or bumped it, ran it through a power conditioner for any voltage spikes, and it still FRIED. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the tone. If they can ever fix the reliability on these things, they would be amazing amps.
Eric Slick For the price Sounds pretty close to a , like it should. It is very loud. I purchased with the Bugera F-BK cab and it is a great combo. Would recommend. Through a Mesa Rectifier 4x12 cab it sounds amazing. One died after a few hours of playing, so I replaced it with a Mesa 6L6.
The bugera is affordable slightly over I use the head through a custom 2x12 loaded with eminence wizard and governor, mostly high gain stuff and it sounds great!! Another great feature that hardly any amps on the market have is the ability to self bias, yes! I know what your thinking, no tube amp self bias, but these Infinium amps do! Just put in either 6L6 or El34 tubes and your good to go!
That being said, I highly recommend this amp! Affordable world class sounding amplifiers!! Grey Nebeker Bugera I had reservations about this amp like most guitar players would. Everything I read online said these amps were awesome.
I watched all the U tube videos and everything. But I decided to go ahead and take the risk and try one out. The brown sound and beyond The Amp Delivered. I was amazed. More gain than you would ever need for Death metal, and clean enough for country and blues.. I played an outdoor gig with this amp in degree weather, and it didnt flinch.
