I have a few complaints, namely the inordinate amount of name dropping Havard does. Such descriptions are sprinkled throughout the book and it is obnoxious. Initially, I found the story incredibly intriguing. Sadie and family have mysterious roots. Not just the descendants, but the original exiles too.

I loved the protagonist Sadie, she developed well as a character and she was very likable and above all relatable because she still made mistakes. I still have so many questions I want answered! I really do recommend this read Sadie is not like the other Survivors. She wants to be human. And she wants to die. So she leaves her family to search for answers about who she is, what she is, and how she can die. But she might find more than she bargained for. I loved this book. There were so many different paranormal creatures discussed.
First and foremost is Sadie. She is searching for answers for herself by investigiating other creatures. I both loved and hated Sadie. She is a complex person. She wants to belong, be loved, and be able to die. I thought this was a very unique viewpoint. While I enjoyed Sadie and her quest for knowledge, I found that some of the supporting characters really stole the show. Cole in particular. He is very swoon-worthy. A perfect gentleman who happens to be very hot and sexy.
I found myself rooting for him and his happiness. I found him boring, dull and uninspiring. I wanted to skim any scene he appeared in. Now his brother Mark is much more interesting character. My favorite character though was Ginny. She seemed to sparkle right off the page. I found her humourous, likeable, and very fun.
I wish there had been more of her. Overall, this was a very good book. It leaves too much unresolved. Definitely not stand alone. That being said, I will definitely be tuning in to the next book in the series. Close X Learn about new offers and get more deals by joining our newsletter Sign up now.

Douzragore Sadie has questions about her life, what exactly is she and is there any way around her apparent immortality? However, I read many really really bad written books there and this is not as bad as them. I wanted Wurvivors to fall in love with him, wanted them to be together. I fell hopelessly in love with Cole Hardwick. In conclusion — The Bad: He was just awesome: Can you do that? Initially, I had a hard time connecting with Sadie.
